Dr. Thomas Sattelberger, MdB

Thomas Sattelberger is a member of the German Bundestag and spokesman for his FDP parliamentary group on innovation, education and research. For many years he was a member of the board of German DAX companies. From 2007 to 2012 he worked for Deutsche Telekom as Chief Human Resources Officer and from 2003 to 2007 for the automotive supplier Continental. Sattelberger joined Lufthansa in 1994 and served as Chief Operating Officer from 1999 to 2003. Between 1975 and 1994, he worked in various management positions and divisions for the Daimler Group.

Dr. Isabelle Canu, Coparion

Isabelle Canu is Head of Operations at coparion, a VC fund with a volume 275m EUR, financed by the German Federal Government, KfW Capital and EIB. coparion invests in fast growing innovative startups with tickets of 0.5 to 5m and alongside several financing rounds up to 10m EUR per company. Isabelle has studied International Relations at Sciences Po in Paris and Florence and received her Ph.D. from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. In all her jobs she has always been at the interface of business, finance, law and politics: e.g. at the IIC The New German Länder Industrial Investment Council, at the Federal Chancellery and at KfW. Isabelle has a profound knowledge in the field of start-ups, entrepreneurship, SME, SME-financing and venture capital. She is very experienced in the management of international projects where success is based on skills as a motivator, on excellent negotiation skills, on entrepreneurial spirit and on result-orientation.

Klaus Müller, KfW Capital

Klaus Müller is Senior Product and Stakeholder Manager at KfW Capital. In his more than 20 years with KfW, the economist headed, among other things, the “Product development/management Start-ups and Equity Investment” team. As head of the “KfW Investment subsidiary setup” project, Klaus was involved in the development of KfW Capital from the very outset. (C) KfW Capital / F. Hensel 

Heike Kammerer, IBM

Heike Kammerer is leading the Industry Lab in the Munich Center. The Industry Lab has four primary industries represented: Automotive, Government, Insurance and Industrial. She and her team work with a variety of customers from around the world on industry-specific use cases to solve their unique business challenges around Digitalization, Internet of Things and AI. Since starting at IBM nearly 30 years ago in IBM's Service Unit in Munich, Heike has worked in a variety of different roles in the company, including project manager, manager, and consultant in various industries for various customers. She also acts as a career coach and mentor within IBM. She has a Diploma in Electronics. She is also mother of two kids and regularly balances her challenging professional roles with her family life.

Dr. Marcell Vollmer, Celonis 

Marcell Vollmer is Chief Innovation Officer at Celonis and is responsible defining and driving innovations and digital transformation for customers globally. A thought leader in procurement, supply chain, finance and shared services, Marcell’s expertise lies in defining digital transformation strategy and to make ‚Run Simple‘ a reality for global customers and consumers by delivering transformation success and process productivity gains. Previously, he was Chief Digital Officer In SAP’s Cloud Business Group and Chief Operating Officer for SAP Ariba where he successfully developed and led global business development, procurement, go to market, sales operations, and enablement.

Jen Stirrup, Data Relish

Jen Stirrup is the Data Whisperer. She is a data strategist and technologist, with over twenty years’ experience in delivering Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence projects worldwide. Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Microsoft Regional Director. Jen is the founder of Data Relish Ltd, a boutique Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence consultancy based in the UK. Jen holds expertise in a range of technologies, including Tableau, Power BI, R, database and Azure cloud technologies. Jen has written books on Machine Learning in the cloud as well as analytics and data visualization. Jen is an advocate of diversity in technology, international public speaker and blogger, published author and keynote speaker. She has been noted as one of the Top 20 women working wonders in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science and Big Data, and, rather humorously, Top ‘Badass’ Women working in Data.

Charles Ikem, PhD

Charles Ikem is a service design expert with interests in user experience and autonomous vehicle design. Charles focuses on helping organizations looking to scale and use design as a source of innovation, learning, discovery and transformation, and has experience with ITU, Amazon and Hilti Corporation. Charles works at the intersection of design and technology and is ever curious on how design can foster new behavior for emerging technologies, with a strong understanding and leadership on product design for Internet technologies, AiXDesign, Internet of Things, future of mobility, and autonomous vehicles. Charles serves as an Academic Board Member at Barcelona Technology School. Charles is the co-author of #AIX course.

Dr. Jan Goetz, IQM

Jan Goetz received a PhD on superconducting quantum circuits in 2017 from Walther-Meissner-Institute and TU Munich and continued as a Postdoc in Helsinki at Aalto University. Helsinki is a great hub for quantum technology, which allowed Jan to receive a Marie Curie Fellowship from the European Union. At Aalto, Jan has been involved in the local Quantum Computer Project, where several research groups and the State Research Center VTT are co-developing a quantum processor. Based on these efforts and together with three co-founders, Jan has been spinning off a company, IQM Finland Oy. Since February 2019, Jan is the CEO of IQM and the company is now expanding its operations on the research campus in Espoo (Helsinki area). IQM's goal is to develop the superconducting quantum processors for large-scale quantum computers.

Melis Altinoluk, MeLway Consultancy

Melis is the founder of MeLway Consultancy, with her track record of harnessing people, technology and processes to drive organisational change and business transformation that delivers sustainable competitive advantages by taking into account the maturity, capability and workforce dimensions of a company. She has 13 years of experience in Energy, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Laboratory equipments industry. Melis has grown along the way, starting from Project, Sales, Marketing to Channel Management. She was engaged in B2C and B2B in Turkey and Europe. She is a public speaker and influencer. She likes using her visible “hyperergy” by developing new business and then make it reaL. She is a real changemaker…

Pierre-Adrien Hanania, Capgemini

As Global Offer Leader of AI in Public Sector at Capgemini, Pierre advises his clients, analyzing industry trends and accompanying Public Sector clients in their journey to a sustainable, meaningful and ethical AI. As former political analyst, Pierre uses his previous experiences he had in several European think tanks in order to detect the synergies between industry trends and the political frame. Doing this, Pierre always aims at embracing the full potential of Europeanization, addressing common digital challenges on a European level in order to provide the best solution possible.

Jasmin Karatas, Myndset 

Jasmin Deniz Karatas is on a quest to lead Gamification and Behavioral Design to success for businesses and entrepreneurs alike. She build up and lead the Gamification Chapter within Accenture Interactive. She gives lecturers to students, holds international talks and workshops, as well as take over mentorships. Trained as a product designer and armed with years of experience in service design, as well as founding her own Startup Myndset, Jasmin follows her ambition to help her clients add passion, value, and emotions to their ideas and solutions.

Beáta Vorosova, CzechInvest

Beáta is the Head of Startup Development in CzechInvest, the Business and Investment Development Agency established by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech republic. She is a true startup enthusiast with a passion for great ideas. Her main interest is to find the quickest way of growth. She is inspired and motivated by startups from a wide spectrum of fields, from high tech to social impact. Her main skill is to identify the core question to solve with an agile attitude and engage the team with creating enthusiasm for the purpose of the case. She is passionate to keep her mind open and learning, currently diving into machine learning technologies.
